John Dolan provides expert testimony in litigation on structured securities products, including mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO). Mr. Dolan has over thirty years of experience in trading, structuring, investing in, and valuing structured securities products. He has worked with agency MBS, agency collateralized mortgage obligations, non-agency RMBS, whole loans, CDOs, and commercial MBS.
Mr. Dolan also testifies on many aspects of portfolio management and investment decisions. He has held executive and senior-level positions at large portfolio management firms and investment banks, including chief investment officer of Hyperion Capital Management (now part of Brookfield Investment Management), managing director at Bankers Trust Global Investment Management, managing director at Salomon Brothers, and vice president and head bodog sportsbook review MBS trading desk at Citibank. Mr. Dolan has also served as president bodog sportsbook review Fixed Income Analysts Society, as a member bodog sportsbook review board of directors bodog sportsbook review Public Securities Association (PSA), and as chairman bodog sportsbook review PSA’s MBS division. He has appeared on CNBC and testified before a congressional committee during the thrift crisis.
In addition to his business experience, Mr. Dolan has taught courses on real estate and the residential mortgage loan and securities markets. He is the sole, independent market maker of S&P/Case-Shiller home price index futures traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
