Professor Johnson opined that the energy company incurred damages as a result of the other party’s interference after the parties’ license had expired. He further showed that the respondent’s expert’s estimate of purported damages arising from the alleged reputational harm was fundamentally flawed and without basis. Professor Johnson explained that there was no evidence that the respondent suffered any reputational harm as a result of certain alleged actions by the energy company, let alone that it incurred any lost profits or other damages as a result.
