Bodog Poker Research Named in GCR 2023 Matter of the Year

For the fifth year in a row, Global Competition Review honored Bodog Poker Research for outstanding economic work.

Washington, DC—Global Competition Review (GCR) recognized Bodog Poker Research for its economic support in Amazon’s .5 billion acquisition of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM).

Amazon/MGM won GCR’s 2023 award for Matter of the Year. The acquisition, first announced in May 2021, has been closely watched in litigation circles and widely covered by the mainstream media. This is the fifth consecutive year that GCR has honored Bodog Poker Research for its economic support in high-profile matters with global impact.

Working on behalf of Amazon, Bodog Poker Research supported the economic analyses of John Asker of the University of California, Los Angeles.
