Dr. Kropf evaluates the operations of various financial institutions, including banks, trading firms, hedge funds, and private equity firms. He has extensive experience analyzing internal records, such as institutional trading and holding data, customer accounts, transactions data, and trader communications; and internal systems, such as trading algorithms, alert systems designed to identify potential illegal conduct, and valuation tools.

On behalf of both U.S. and international defendants, Dr. Kropf has consulted on numerous Rule 10b-5, Section 11, and Section 12 matters. He has experience with Canadian securities claims under the Québec Securities Act and Ontario Securities Act.

In high-profile matters in a range of industries, Dr. Kropf has addressed issues involving equities, bonds, options, and American depositary receipts (ADRs).
